Christmas Eve Fire Displaces Nearly 25 Highland Park Residents
A Christmas Eve fire displaced 24 residents at a Highland Park, New Jersey apartment complex. Around 5:30 pm, on Monday, December 24 a fire ignited and destroyed four apartments and damaged 12 others at the Cedar Lane Apartments. The fire began in an apartment on the top floor of the building purportedly occupied by a resident who hoarded items, which may have contributed to the powerful blaze. Luckily, no victims sustained any injuries in the Christmas Eve fire.
Victims in a fire at their residence may experience severe trauma if they develop burn injuries. Burn injuries may range from minor to serious and necessitate medical intervention such as painful skin grafts and multiple surgeries.
